Changes leading to the end of this blog

Hi,

life changes and so do I. I've decided to focus my time, not my interests. Therefore, I have decided that "San's Visual Art" will from now on be my "main" blog. That I will put everything that I had spread over four different blogs (Triathlon, Personal Style, Photography, Art) before,  into this one blog San's Visual Art now.

Justyna of Chameleonic.co has written a wonderful post about how the fashion blog scene has changed. Since I think she is right and I only have a style idea once a month or so, I think this doesn't need a whole blog just for my style. I can easily incorporate my personal style into my San's Visual Art - Blog. After all fashion and style are visual arts too.

So if you want to and haven't already come on over. I'd love that. If not? I sincerely thank you for reading this blog and wish you and your loved ones a wonderful and amazing life.

Thank you all for your patience and reading and commenting,
San

The last

of  boring pictures, they are. Due to work I lost sight of my stylegoal a bit. I  still thought about what to wear, however I didn't use that special stuff like hats. Mainly because I don't own summerhats,  yet. As a matter of fact I don't own that much summer clothes either. This PROMOD-dress is one of the few dresses I own. I bought it last summer. I've worn it twice, since I bought it.
Anyway, the weather changed to hat-weather so I'm back to wearing hats with today. I've also decided to finally get two hats custommade, as soon as I can afford them (sadly not now). My hats, as nice as they are now, all lack colour. So at least one will be bright red, the other one I haven't decide yet. You'll see.

By the way inspiration for really cool hats you'll find here: http://www.philiptreacy.co.uk/ I have to admit that I use his pictures as reference, when I meet my milliner again.

Okay, time to go to work.

Hell froze over again - A Hat and a skirt

Yes, you've read right: skirt. I bought this lovely skirt second hand at Mrs. Hippie. I was totally surprised how fantastic it looked on me. But I've also learned a lesson. Always take a good look on second hand clothes in broad daylight. I didn't do so with this skirt and when I got home I found several stains on it. But all is well that ends well and I could remove those stains and my skirt is just fantastic. And I LOVE it, as you can see.

Hats are back

Remember my felt bowler hat? Well it is pretty boring in its original state. It looks the same from all sides.

See?!

So, I've decided to do it up, to improve it. Inspired by the Steampunk hats I saw througout the last days.

Here is my very first attempt at Steampunk.

What do you think?

Japanese handbag in the SANSSOUCI Park

Last weekend I went to Park SANSSOUCI in Potsdam with my parents. For lunch we went into the old town and ate at a lovely french bistro. The old town of Potsdam is cute, with low houses and small nice shops. One shop the "Japanzimmer" (Japanese Room) offered the coolest stuff from Japan and east asia, this included several handbags. As soon as I laid my eyes on this handbag I was in love. So I checked it out (after I thought about styling possibilities!), it does have a zipper to close it and comes with several practical pockets inside. So I bought it. It does go well with this outfit, doesn't it? (My mom didn't think so at first. LoL)

If Mayo can, so can I

Reading so many Fashionblogs, something had to rub off. So here it goes:

My take on Mayos "Shoes and Socks".

While Mayo certainly has more feminine clothes, I have the cooler socks. (At least that's what I like to think.)

Have a great new week everyone.
